Our very own Jackson Rathbone has landed a role in Japanese director Sion Sono's Lords of Chaos, centered around Norway's black metal scene.
Based on Michael Moynihan and Didrik Soderlind’s book of the same name, the film depicts true events and revolves around the black metal sub-culture that spawned a wave of murders and Church arsons across Norway in the early 1990s.
Jackson will play the lead role of The Count, who was often depicted as Norway's version of Charles Manson. the film is tentatively scheduled for release in 2010.
Sounds like another dark role for Jackson, and I can't think of anyone more likely to pull it off. We wish him the best of luck with this project, and can't wait for its release!
