New Novella from Stephenie Meyer

Multiple news outlets, web sites, and the like have been reporting this news like crazy.
Stephenie Meyer is gracing us with a novella all about the short life and times of Bree Tanner.

“I’m as surprised as anyone about this novella,” said Stephenie Meyer. “When I began working
on it in 2005, it was simply an exercise to help me examine the other side of Eclipse, which I
was editing at the time. I thought it might end up as a short story that I could include on my
website. Then, when work started on The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, I thought the Guide
would be a good fit for my Bree story. However, the story grew longer than I anticipated, until it
was too long to fit into the Guide.”

The novella will be available on July 5th, 2010

Rob on the set of Bel Ami

Dear Rob,
I was visiting TOR and Bel Ami Films and they posted some drool worthy pictures which has proven to be very distracting. I'm suppose to be writing and all I can think about is you in a top hat......shiver me timbers!
Now that I will never be able to finish my project someone is going to have to help me off the floor since my legs have turned into mush.

USA Today chats with Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning

Me: Well, since we're at South by Southwest, one thing a lot of people want me to ask is what music you're into right now.

Right. I listen to The Shins and Radiohead and Interpol. And we saw Band of Horses last night, and that was awesome, because they're, like, my favorite band right now. I love Camera Obscura and Jenny Lewis. I'm just pumping 'em out -- I never do this! I'm always like, "Oh, I don't answer that question."

It's a hard one.

I really hate that question. It scares me, it makes me nervous. Because I think people judge you a lot on the music that you listen to.

Stewart: It's so defining. Which is why people want to know, because it does say a lot about you.

They want to categorize you.

Me: Well, those are good. And you saw Band of Horses, I almost went to that show.

Stewart: And Broken Social Scene. You seriously missed out. The chick from Metric came out and played one song with them. A long, anthem-y-type thing ... it was awesome.

Me: Oh, well. OK, next question! This is from Lauren: Would you ever consider being in a band yourself?

Fanning: I don't think so. I can only sing or perform if I'm playing a character and able to hide behind that character, so I would be too afraid to do it as myself.

Stewart: I love music so much. I play guitar, and I love playing it with my friends. But I hate the idea of something that's mine ... I'm used to making movies and having people take that from me. But to have my thing be somebody else's experience right now ... I could never be in a band. I feel the same way. I could only ever do that playing someone else.

Me: So you're not going to release an album?

Oh, no.

Me: Here's one from Lynn: How much did the costuming, makeup, etc. help in the process of channeling these awesome female rockers?

Fanning: I think it helped me a lot, just because Cherie's costumes are so out there and unique to her. Even the way the clothes were made back then, just because a lot of the stuff was vintage -- just that feeling was really cool to have. I loved getting to see a picture of her and then look like that. I've always wanted to play a real person, so it was neat for me.

Julissa asks, if you were to form the ultimate rock band, with musicians from today and of the past, who would you include?

Stewart: Oh, no. I answered the music that I listened to! I can't even begin to try to make a band in my head. (Laughs)

Me: Do you have an all-time favorite guitarist?

I don't. I really actually don't. It would take a really long time for me to think of the kind of band I'd wanna make, how they'd complement one another ... it's too loaded.

Me: Well, let's move on to one from Tom: What's the coolest stuff you've gotten from fans?

Stewart: I got a really cool jacket once. And I was freezing, so I really needed a jacket. That was really nice.

I always get really cool gifts from Japanese fans. They always send me really cute things you can't find in America. They're usually Hello Kitty, and I love Hello Kitty, so ...

Stewart: You do?

Stewart: OK. That's so funny. (Laughs)

And you know, like stationery stores that have the walls of pens and things like that? I love that kind of stuff ...

You are Japanese.

(A publicist tells me we have a minute left)

Me: Caro wants to know if you watch your own movies.

Stewart: I kind of wish that we'd went to (the Austin Runaways screening).

Fanning: We've seen it five times.

But I wish we went to that one because we heard it was really great, it was a real audience. It wasn't movie people. Some actors are like, 'Oh, I don't watch the movie.' But I have to see what happened. I have to see what we did.

Fanning: I look forward to it.

Yeah, me too. I have to see everything done. But usually it's hard for me. And it's hard for me to watch this, too -- like, there are parts that make me wanna kill myself. But I love the story so much. And I love the music. So I like to watch it.

Me: You know, most of the questions I got for this interview were from women, which I think is great. What do you think about that, and have you noticed a difference between the Twilight fans and Runaways fans?

They're both widely female, which is unique in the business because everyone says -- and it is true -- there's not a whole lot of material for a female-driven audience. I would say they're kind of similar ... It's empowering to read these stories. I feel like both of them are very bold girl stories.

Me: Thanks, guys.

Wax Rob

Crowds of screaming fans will flood Times Square to help unveil a wax figure of Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson on Thursday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Madame Tussauds New York, 234 West 42nd St. (b/w 7th & 8th Aves.), Manhattan. After the unveiling, fans will be able to cozy up to R-Pattz’s figure for photos and even a hug. Once immortalized (in wax), the Twilight vampire and Remember Me star will join the likes of Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Leonardo DiCaprio – all of whom have wax figures in the famed Times Square wax attraction.

Pattinson’s figure is dressed in black trousers and fitted shirt. A jacket in a contrasting color finishes off his young, hip look. R-Pattz’s wax likeness also sports the actor’s signature tousled locks, which fans are invited to run their fingers through. Each strand of hair was inserted one-by-one by the Tussauds studio artists, who created the figure. They spent hundreds of hours studying photos and watching video footage of Pattinson to create the incredibly lifelike figure, which is posed standing up with hands on hips and will be housed in the “Opening Night Party” section of Madame Tussauds New York.

The first 100 fans who arrive to see R-Pattz’s figure on the day it is unveiled will receive free Pattinson and Twi-hard gear, as well as free admission to the attraction. Fans both young and old, often referred to as “Twi-hards,” can’t seem to get enough of R-Pattz. The young British actor became an overnight sensation following his portrayal of Edward Cullen, the beloved vampire in the film adaptation of Twilight. With a loyal following stretching across multiple continents, Pattinson is one of today’s hottest stars. In fact, Madame Tussauds London will also unveil a figure of R.Pattz on the same day as Madame Tussauds New York.

New ECLIPSE Poster

The new Eclipse Poster has been revealed to the masses! Now let the excitement BEGIN!!!

Kellan Lutz the Greek God

Kellan Lutz a Greek God?

Lutz has been cast in the role of Poseidon, Greek god of the sea, in "War of the Gods," an upcoming swords and sandals blockbuster from "The Fall" and "The Cell" director Tarsem Singh. Lutz joins Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto in the growing cast, which is expected to assemble next month for the start of production.
The story follows young Greek warrior Theseus (Cavill) as he leads his fellow soldiers in a... well... a war of the gods, at the bidding of King Hyperion (Rourke). The Theseus of Greek myth is the founder of Athens and son of Poseidon, though it's not known how closely "War" will follow established stories. Pinto will play Phaedra, Theseus' second wife.

Friday Fan Fic Rec

Summary: When the man who’s supposed to love them hurts them, and the people who are supposed to save them won't listen, it falls on their shoulders to not just survive, but save each other.

I don't remember how I found 'We Don't Break, We Bend' but I thank my lucky stars I did. This isn't your typical fic where Bella and Edward fall in love. It's a story of three teenagers growing up in an abusive home and despite they fact they never know when they're guardian James will explode, they still manage to create a family.

Social outcasts Jasper, Edward and Bella learned to depend on each other and everyday they survive means its one day closer to the freedom they long for. When Jasper meets Alice he has to learn to hide his wounds from not only her but from the Cullen clan.

LyricalKris managed to create a dark and real situation where you're captivated from the opening paragraph and you don't stop until you've read every chatper. Like most fics each chapter begins with song lyrics, and when Lyrical used 'Bent' by matchbox Twenty I knew this fic owned me. When I use to listen to that song I constantly thought of romantic relationships gone wrong and letting the new person you're not all there. But I saw 'Bent' in a whole new light after reading this fic, no matter how many times they were beaten, they always found a way to put themselves back together.

I simply found each character had some form of bravery and they held each other together when life was getting worst. Its the only way I know how to explain it. Please check out this fic!

Kristen on Jimmy Fallon Promoting The Runaways

Kristen Stewart was busy promoting The Runaways yesterday, going from her press junket straight to an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Earlier in the day she shared with us about how Joan Jett suggested she get strangely close with her guitar, but Kristen kept things relatively clean with Jimmy by talking about their friendship and how it felt to act like a rock star. Jimmy's getting all sorts of love from the Twilight gang after a recent visit from Robert Pattinson while he was out promoting Remember Me — her chat with Jimmy is below.

HAPPY Birthday Kellan!!

GASP!! What in the world is wrong with me!! Kellan turned 25 and I missed it??

Underwear model and Twilight vampire Kellan Lutz turned 25 Monday and was surprised with a soiree at his Sherman Oaks house.
The bash was planned by his brother, who asked guests to park down the street to avoid Kellan catching on. "It was just his close friends and family," a source tells me of the low-key evening. "They had a BBQ and drinks and asked guests to bring something, too."

Friends even had a birthday cake that paid homage to his Calvin Klein ad!
Brittany Snow and her boyfriend attended the bash, but Kellan's on-off girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord wasn't there. How come? She's currently in Cambodia on a charity trip, according to her Twitter.

The couple's still on though...for now. They recently took a trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, together to participate in Roselyn Sanchez's Triathlon for Life.
Kellan got the party started early last weekend with some help from Twilight costar Ashley Greene when they hit Coco de Ville Friday night with a group of friends and drank Moet champagne and Belvedere vodka.

Ash couldn't make Monday's party, since she's in Austin for the South by Southwest festival.

Eclipse 10 Second Teaser Trailer

Yeah, it's only 10 seconds BUT this Friday we can expect the full trailer! I hope (fingers crossed) they will show before Remember Me!!

Remember Me Saturday

Here're the deets, straight from

As some of you might already know, we started a campaign to help the film Remember Me called Remember Me Saturday. The basic plan is to push for this National Fan Event on Saturday, March 13th due to the fact that Friday and Saturday are the days weekend box office estimates are based on. Sunday still counts, of course, but for perception and reporting, Friday and Saturday are the golden days. Seeing as every fan will already be seeing Remember Me on Friday, Saturday became the day chosen to hold this fan campaign and try to make a difference with the box office receipts.

The idea is for fans to go back on Saturday March 13th and take their
family and friends (or anyone they know!) and go see Remember Me again.

She does smile!

KStew arrived smiley, well-rested and just adorable for her Leno taping earlier today.

Robert Pattinson's Parade Magazine Interview

Robert Pattinson: 'I Didn't Like the Way 'New Moon' Was Treated By Critics'
by Jeanne Wolf

Robert Pattinson is taking a break from his Twilight stardom to play a rebellious New York college student in Remember Me. In the indie flick, the 23-year-old gets to explode with rage, fall in love with a girl (played by Lost's Emilie de Ravin) and go head-to head with his domineering father (played by Pierce Brosnan).

Acting as therapy.
"I try and pick roles that will help me develop as a human being and I think I was going through a similar kind of experience as my character Tyler, which I guess you could call being rebellious. I thought just doing the film would actually help me to think about and discover things that would help me in my life. I was kind of using it as a therapy exercise."

His personal struggle.
"You're so focused on trying to be an individual and trying to like stamp your identity on something. But you kind of doubt what you want to be. You don't accept just being part of the world. I sort of had that feeling. I had this obsession when I was younger about everything feeling kind of fake. Eventually, you just stop sort of railing against everything around you because most people only cause problems for themselves. They're just blind to the reality of things."

Connecting with losing a loved one.
"I keep talking about my dog all the time. It was an incredible dog, and I said in an interview recently he was the most important person in my life. My family went crazy with me for saying that. But, however ridiculous it may seem to some people, my relationship with my dog was a defining moment. Having the dog die was, literally, like the worst day of my life. It was like losing a family member."

The reality of becoming an overnight success.
"I think you really cause yourself a lot of problems if you start fighting against it. There's nothing you can do. I mean, there's no mysticism to it. People recognize you and they want to talk to you, or want to see you. My trick is not to see them as a crowd. If you break down every crowd into individuals, then it's more manageable. It's just when you start seeing these huge masses of people screaming at you that you start going crazy. So I try to focus on a few faces and not the mass."

But when you're filming on location in New York...
"It ended up being like more of a circus than I thought it was going to be. At the beginning, it was terrible. Then, about halfway through, I just suddenly had an epiphany about it. I don't know what happened, but I know it's just fine. I guess it's just learning how to sort of block things out. It's like you've just got to be more disciplined about it."

A lesson in anger control.
"While we were filming, one of the security guys saw me getting more and more upset with the paparazzi guys. He just sort of came up and was like, 'Imagine going out there and trying to hit one of them while, let's say, 40 cameras are clicking away.' That was enough to kind of calm my frustration. But, at the end of the day, you can't say, 'I'm not doing it until these people go away.' You have to keep acting. So it was definitely way more intense than any of the Twilight films."

Maybe he skips the reviews.
"I didn't like the way New Moon was treated by the critics. I think it was reviewed in the context of just being a big franchise movie. When something is so hyped, inevitably, there is a backlash against it. I think Chris Weitz is an amazing director. I really enjoyed the film. So the naysayers kind of annoyed me."

So why not try an album?
"I kind of want to do one at the end of the year. All my friends are recording albums and I'm very annoyed about it. But I can't do two things at once. I don't know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and also sing. I'm just like, 'I can't.' But, hopefully, I'll find some time to get it together."

Ashley Green Rocks Milan

What does a day in the life of Twilight's Ashley Greene entail? How about jet-setting off to Milan Fashion Week to live la dolce vita from the front row? While out and about in Milan, the cutie showed off three amazing looks. For Gucci's runway show, Ashley donned a streamlined LBD with standout cobalt trimming and a cutout back. For Giorgio Armani, she showed a pretty purple and pink-trimmed silk dress complete with a matching clutch and patent pink sandals. However, it was her Dolce & Gabbana multicolored, long-sleeved frock that left me smitten. But that's just me — which tickled your fancy?
