A little bit of casting news for ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ has started to circulate.
Jodelle Ferland, who is best known for her role in ‘Silent Hill’, has joined the cast of the film. Ferland’s role in Eclipse is described by Variety as a “vampire who has just been turned“. On various fan sites, speculation is that it is the character called ‘Bree’. Ferland’s most recent roles include the CBS telepic ‘Pictures of Hollis Woods’ and an upcoming thriller with Renée Zellweger titled ‘Case 39′.
Twilight: Eclipse stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Xavier Samuel and Bryce Dallas Howard.
‘The ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, will begin shooting in Vancouver, Canada on August 17th, 2009.
The shoot is scheduled to run until October 31st, 2009. The third film in the francise currently is slated for a June 30, 2010 release.
‘New Moon’, the second film in in Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster series, is currently slated for a November 20th, 2009 release.
