Happy Weekend everyone! I thought I'd update you all about the Chicago stop of the Twilight Convention. Let me know if anyone will be in the area and wants to join some members of the Indiana Chapter. Looks to be a pretty good time with Kellan Lutz, Kiowa Gordon, Bronson Pelletier and others scheduled to appear amongst others. Dates are June 25-27, 2010. Yay!! Here's the link!

Spencer Bell Legacy Concert

Don't know who Spencer Bell is? He's an artist, poet, and all around talented guy who suddenly lost his life to Adrenal Cancer in 2006. His whole story can be found here.

Artists Supporting a Cure for Cancer Now (ASCC Now) are holding two concerts in his memory. If you can make it to Dallas, Tx on April 24th, I strongly encourage you to go. I'd be there in a heartbeat if it weren't two weeks before my due date. Six great bands, including 100 Monkeys, will be playing that day. If you're going to the show, you might want to check out some of the cool raffle / auction items for those in attendance (below).

ASCC Now is holding a raffle and auction. Details about what is up for bid are here.

I encourage you to look over the list of items up for auction. Among the many cool items are a band photo signed by the band and A t-shirt designed by Kelly Rathbone and signed by the band.

Nikki knows about Kellan's Balls

According to Marc Malkin over at E! Online, Nikki knows Kellan's balls:

"I think he looks fantastic," Reed told us at last night's Hollywood 3-D screening of the Burberry Prorsum show from London Fashion Week. "I'm actually really proud of him."

She continued to gush...

"It takes a lot of balls, no pun intended, to stand and pose like that," Reed said. "I wouldn't have the guts to stand there naked like that."

The beautiful and talented Rachelle Lefevre has a new pilot in the works, with fellow actress Amy Smart.

Medical Drama from producer John Wells, sources confirm to me exclusively. The
project revolves around a team of medical professionals who travel the U.S.
helping those in desperate need of assistance.

It’s ER on wheels!

Lefevre’s character, Katy, is described as a smart and confident medical
road warrior who’s more comfortable working in the field than in the office. The
cast also includes Amy Smart.
Lefevre is also known for her recurring roles
on What About Brian, Boston Legal, and Swingtown.

Eclipse Board Games in the Works

At least two board games which will feature The Twilight Saga: Eclipse are currently in the works for distribution.

According to ToyXPlosion, Eclipse and The Twilight Saga: New Moon will be incorporated in this fall's Scene It? The Twilight Saga Deluxe Edition.

This exciting new game features content from all three films, including the summer 2010 release, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Relive the passion, action and suspense of the phenomenon surrounding Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and experience the ultimate trivia game that features all new clips, trivia and on-screen puzzles from this blockbuster franchise. For ages 13+, available Fall 2010.

In case you hadn't Scene It (okay, bad pun), the first Twilight Scene It? game came out last fall (reviewed here), and it made a big splash across the Twilight community, especially with its diverse availability (on the Wii and Nintendo DS entertainment systems).

Additionally, a The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie board game (pictured above, which follows the fall release of the New Moon board game - reviewed here) is expected to be released as well, and in this video, MTV talks to a representative of the game company, Cardinal, about both the New Moon and Eclipse board games.

Team Edward = Team Jacob?

According to imdb, Rob Pattison has signed on to play Jacob Jankowski in the movie Water for Elephants based on the book by the same name.

The publisher-released synopsis:

As a young man, Jacob Jankowski was tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It was the early part of the great Depression, and for Jacob, now ninety, the circus world he remembers was both his salvation and a living hell. A veterinary student just shy of a degree, he was put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. It was there that he met Marlena, the beautiful equestrian star married to August, the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. And he met Rosie, an untrainable elephant who was the great gray hope for this third-rate traveling show. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and, ultimately, it was their only hope for survival.

The movie is listed as 'in development' by imdb. Casting rumors for other parts are aplenty.

7 Minutes in Heaven!!

Why, WHY do we have to wait until March 20,2010 00:01 to get our look at Eclipse? Torture...

We know that Borders will be having a great midnight release party for the New Moon DVD, but now Walmart is making it's ploy for a place in the Twilight world. Walmart will be releasing their special edition of the DVD including a minute look at the new Eclipse movie. The 7 minutes are toted to include a behind the scenes look at production, interviews with Kristen, Rob, Taylor and Stephenie Meyer over key scenes of the movie. Lastly and most importantly a scene from the movie!  There will also be release parties at the 24 hr Walmarts for those of you who don't have a Borders close to you as well as a special Twilight merchandise.

The Last Airbender Theatrical Trailor **Official**

I don't know how many of you have been waiting fo rthis movie, but I have been chomping at the bit for some more Jax on screen.

The Last Air Bender by M. Night Shyamalan: Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone) (with sexhot hair...JS), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aangs struggle to survive.

Even if you're not a fan of anime I urge you to go see this as soon as it hits the theaters on July 2nd, 2010. The special effects look amazing and the characters fit the parts perfectly. (oh, and there's some Jax smooching in it too.)
