During TwiCon last weekend, Larry Carroll caught up with the actor in an attempt to uncover more details about that scene — Bella's birthday party — and the way in which Jasper pounces at the slight whiff of blood. "It's a little bit more violent [than what you saw in the trailer]," Jackson explains. "It's really about the moment where Bella's kind of realizing what kind of world she's really into. We spent the entire film of 'Twilight' delving into the vampire, but now with 'New Moon,' it's like you're in the vampire world and what happens when you get that paper cut?" Press play below to hear more about the pivotal moment and how Jackson's costars had to hold him back.

J-Action in Dallas
Lainey posted some *ahem* rather nice shots of Jackson Rathbone performing with 100 Monkeys this weekend at the Dallas TwiCon. Excuse me while I squeal and pant and feverishly anticipate Wednesday when I will pop my 100 Monkeys (and Jackson, hopefully?) cherry.

The Trifecta of Awesome: Bobby, Sam and Marcus TOGETHER
Two of our sisters were lucky enough to attend TwiCon in Dallas this weekend, and between their emails, texts and tweets I was beside myself with second-hand excitement for them.
But when they told me that 3/4ths of the infamous Brit Pack, Bobby Long, Marcus Foster and Sam Bradley, were on stage performing TOGETHER well... I died a little bit. Word on the street is they played I am Broken (made famous by none other than Mr. Rob Pattinson), so if anyone has that video I am going to need you to stop what you are doing IMMEDIATELY and post that some place that I can see it.
As it is, I did happen to find footage of them playing Crooked Sky. And to say it is amazing and chill-inducing is a gross understatement.
Enjoy!
*sigh*
Bobby Long is playing this Wednesday, August 6th at Hotel Cafe in LA, and Marcus Foster is playing the Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th. If you're in the area, we'll see you there! Come say hi to the Sisterhood. We don't bite... unless you ask us too. *wink*

All HALE Jackson Rathbone
.jpg)
Jackson Rathbone will be in Dallas, TX this weekend with his band the 100 Monkeys doing several shows and appearing at the largest ever Twilight convention.
Jackson and the band recently found out about a 14 year old named Dorthy that has terminal cancer they who is a die hard Twilight fan and they jumped on the chance to invite her to join them this weekend for their concert at the Palladium. In addition to extending her concert tickets Dorthy is also getting back stage passes and she gets to meet the band. “We're all very lucky people and helping others makes us who we are,” said Rathbone.
Yet another one of the many reasons that Jackson gives me the warm fuzzies.
