Kristin and Taylor Talk About New Moon Breakup Scenes

One of the major plots in the highly-anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" is the complex love triangle between Bella, Jacob and Edward. Recently, two of its leading stars, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, have addressed issues surrounding it with MTV, including the heartbreak and breakups.

Sharing about breakup in the movie, Stewart admitted that shooting it was tough. "Yeah, and just like everything in our movie, it's such a heightened version of reality. It's like, people don't just break up [in the 'Twilight' films] - they break up and it literally kills you. It's not like you just say, 'Oh, I'm really depressed and crying.' Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that," explained the 19-year-old.

Lautner then chimed in revealing that this second "Twilight" movie will deal with many heartbreak. "['New Moon'] is very complicated. There's a lot of heartbreak, there's a lot of things going on. Edward leaves at the beginning, she goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it," he said. "Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me. It's all over the place, and there's a lot going on, and there's many of those scenes that you described."

When asked about the favorite scene to shoot, Lautner pointed out on the so-called breakup scene between Bella and Jacob. "My favorite one was - well, we call it the breakup scene - but it's the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I've cut off my hair, all different for the first time. I have to tell her that we can't be friends anymore," the 17-year-old hunk shared which was quickly responded by Stewart with, "He attempts to break up with me - but it doesn't work out."

SNL WishList

With the announcement that actress Megan Fox will host the SNL season Premiere, Hollywood Crush has put up their SNL Host Wish List:

1. Robert Pattinson
Fans have been petitioning for nearly a year to have the dashing Brit take the "SNL" stage. Though Lorne nixed the idea for last season, he did tell OK! magazine that he'd be open to having the "New Moon" star on the upcoming season. Paging Kristen Stewart: we'd also love to see you cameo!

2. Leighton Meester
For a series that launched a thousand text messages, you'd think "Gossip Girl" would get a few more XOs from the sketch comedy show. (Blake Lively did have a brief cameo in the odd digital short "Hey! (Murray Hill)" last season.) We respectfully nominate Queen Bee Leighton, who can pull double duty as host and musical guest alongside her "Good Girls Go Bad" collaborators Cobra Starship.

3. Chris Pine
After making a splash in this spring's "Star Trek" movie, Chris , who celebrates his 29th birthday this week, was beamed to the "SNL" Weekend Update desk for a cameo alongside costar Zachary Quinto. But that just wasn't enough. With Chris' horror-thriller flick "Carriers" due out in September, we think it would logical to tap the hunk for a repeat performance.

4. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz
Remember 2004? When the economy was good? And Ashlee (without that hyphen) did that funny little jig on "SNL" after her backing track went haywire? Well, a hosting gig could finally put that whole, sordid affair to rest for the "Melrose Place" star. Maybe if Ashlee's a really good sport, she'd even do a parody of herself.


5. Sam Worthington
To be honest, we have no idea whether the dashing Australian's funny bone is anywhere near as big as his bicep. But even if it's not, 1.5 hours with the 33-year-old "Avatar" star (without the $12.50 cineplex fee), couldn't be all bad.

Jackson Rathbone finds his Girlfriend

Jackson Rathbone's new Girlfriend co-star will be played by actress Shannon Woodward. Hollywood Crush recently had an interview with the actress.
HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Tell me a bit about "Girlfriend" — what is your character like?

SHANNON WOODWARD: "Girlfriend" is kind of like a strange love story, but with several different people involved. I think my character is kind of a troubled, incredibly young mother who has very different and, at some points, very strained and strange relationships with several different people, like romantic relationships.

How would you categorize the film? Would you call it a romance?

No. its like a very strange, dark, indie drama. I wouldn't call it a love story, but there are certainly love stories involved. I think that they're all love stories in different characters eyes, but its kind of a tragedy.

Would you say you're the central character of the story?

Yes, I am the central character of the story, but its also kind of an ensemble around my character. I'm not the only central character, but I would say there are two or three.

Do you think you fit the role of Candy? Why did this character draw you to her?

Its definitely something that I've never done before, and its a role with a lot of depth as well as it's a very unique story, which is why its difficult to describe so vaguely. There are very few roles for young women where there is room to actually make kind of artistic choices. And there's a lot of room to breathe.

Who are some of the other main actors who are going to be in this?

As far as I know, there's Jackson and then Amanda Plumber is going to be in the movie as well. I'm not sure about the other people yet.

How are all the characters' stories going to connect?

Well, I mean, Jackson and I, we were kind of high school sweethearts, and now we've got this very broken, strained, ex-kind of relationships, where the relationship still exists but its very fragmented now ... it gets more difficult to explain [laughs].

Had you met Jackson before?

I have not met Jackson. I've heard good things about him.

Are you ready for all the "Twilight" hysteria that's going to follow you now that you're connected to someone who stars in the vampire franchise?

Oh gosh. No no, but Id be honored. I should be so lucky for people to care.

How do you feel about the fact that this project could be getting extra attention just because its connected to "Twilight"?

I think its great. This is an art film, and if it introduces a new audience to a film they wouldn't have seen for any other reason, then I think that that's a great thing. I think that there are a lot of teenagers who would be interested in "Twilight" who are also interested in seeing interesting dark, gritty movies.

Have you seen "Twilight"?

Have I seen "Twilight"? Who hasn't? Of course Ive seen it! [Laughs]

What's next for you after "Girlfriend" wraps?

I'm not sure. Right now I'm just preparing to do this movie. There are things that I'm interested in doing, but movies take a while to be set up. I enjoy film. I'm a cinefile. So I hopefully will be lucky enough to, you know, do other things, like this movie, that I think are really special.

Kellan Lutz Vancouver Bound
