I guess growing up in Los Angeles and having an actress in the family has taught me when you see my favorite actor or actress in real life, remember they're really not their character (I.e. I know Rob is Rob and not Edward Cullen). Now with that being said someone is already hating on poor Alex Meraz, who stars as Paul from the Wolf Pack in New Moon. While out at the Chatear Maramont Hotel, he told E! Online that a Twi-hard fan called him Paul and said she hated him. He was a little stunned but he just replied that he loved her as well.
"I play a bad boy, so she got mad at me," he added. "She said, 'I hate you, Paul!' That was the craziest thing for me—being confused for a character."
Meraz's response to the hater?...
"I yelled back at her, 'I love you, too!'" he said.
I really hope Alex is ready for the sex symbol role because it's so going to happen, he's just looking for a smidgen of the status Rob has...well Alex its going to be a close run (I'm sure Rob is hoping he takes the status away so he won't be chased down alleys).
"Rob's just kind of soaking it up for everyone," Meraz said. "I'm happy to have just a smidgen of what he's got...I'm not worried about being a sex symbol."
