Who is Taking Care of Rob Pattinson?
More disturbing photos have surfaced of Rob Pattinson being mobbed at LAX on Monday, showing people shoving cameras literally in his face.
I understand - well, no, to be honest I really don't understand the pap mentality; how they justify the violations they inflict on celebrities again and again. I have no idea why there are not more laws against this kind of intrusion - and why the ones that exist are not enforced. HOWEVER, this issue has been beaten to death since Princess Diana's death, with little to nothing resolved.
What I do not understand is... where the HALE is Pattinson's security?! In Cannes, there was hardly a photo taken of him that did not also include his bodyguard. Rob even admitted in an interview that at one point his security picked him up off the ground and carried him through a crowd. So why is he forced to walk what appears alone through a crowded airport, amid throngs of fans and paparazzi?
He has the status to require security, and I'm sure he has the money to afford it (and if not, honey... let me know. I got five on it), so why is he not better protected? Anything could happen in a crowd like that! It's not safe for him - and I certainly don't see how anyone, let alone someone as seemingly shy as Rob, can remain sane and productive when constantly mobbed in this way.

I nominate myself for the job since clearly, no one else is stepping up to the task. Listen Rob, I may only be 5'2 but all 62 inches of me are FIERCE. I got this. Let me help you.

Rob Heads Back
Despite rumors that he was to be in LA for the next three weeks, Rob was caught at LAX security this afternoon as he headed back to Vancouver to finish filming New Moon.
Poor bb looks very tired - and no wonder! Partying until 3am after shooting all day on Friday, coming out of an LA recording studio mid-morning on Saturday, meeting with directors for Remember Me on Saturday night and man-about-towning this afternoon. Rob is one busy boy! I hope he gets to rest soon.

Rob back In Los angeles!!
Marc Malkin is reporting Rob Pattinson is back in Hollywood!!
Robert Pattinson is back in the U.S.!
I just got word that our favorite British import was in Los Angeles last night, fresh from a quick trip to Tokyo to promote Twilight with his costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
So what was Pattinson up to?
He was spotted at about 11:30 p.m. finishing dinner with three others at an outside table at La Poubelle, a French bistro in Hollywood.
And we're happy to report that it looks like he picked up the tab, because he was seen signing the credit card receipt, according to a fellow diner.
Now the big question is, will Pattinson pop up at this month's Twilight at Midnight parties? It was announced today that retailers across the country will be open March 20 from 10 p.m. to midnight to launch the release of the hit movie's DVD.
Rumor has it that stars from the flick will actually make surprise appearances at some of the vampire-themed soirees.
