The lovable Dr. Carlisle Cullen is about to be transformed into a true Dr. McNasty. Nurse Jackie, a new original series on Showtime features actress Edie Falco (Sopranos) as Nurse Jackie and one of our favorite vampires, actor Peter Facinelli who plays Dr. Cooper. The show debuts on June 8th at 10:30pm. Enjoy a clip from the first episode called, 'Call Me Coop' where he unwittingly shares his little "problem" with Nurse Jackie.
Thanks, TwiCrack for the tip!

Peter Facinelli stars in Nurse Jackie!

Showtime's latest Original Series Nurse Jackie makes its premire on June 8th. Its stars Edie Falco (Sparanos), Peter Facinelli (The Twilight Saga: New Moon) and Eve Best in a House like hopsital Drama, except no one is curing some rare disease.
I know the Twilight fans will be looking forward to Peter Facinelli's new role as Dr. Fitch Cooper (sorry he won't have the compassion of Carlise in this project):
Throwing a wrench in the machine is the young, seemingly perfect, Dr. Fitch
"Coop" Cooper who typifies the smug, Ivy League doctors who have trolled the
hospital halls for decades on their way to the golf course, leaving the nurses
to deal with the repercussions of their drive-by diagnoses. He has these manic
highs and lows. When he gets nervous he acts out with inappropriate sexual
touching.
Moments like this I wish I had Showtime!

Peter Facinelli: The Perverted Dr.?

Showtime, responsible for such hit shows as Weeds, Californication, The United States of Tara, Dexter, The Tudors, and The L Word, is adding Peter Facinelli to its list of on-staff talent. Playing Dr. Cooper in the new series Nurse Jackie, Facinelli will be joined by none other than the fabulous The Sopranos long-timer Edie Falco (the lovely and enduring Carmela Soprano).
Facinelli stated that his character longs for the approval of Nurse Jackie, and that he suffers from quite the condition - sexual Tourette's Syndrome. In the preview, whilst Nurse Jackie puts Dr. Cooper in his place, he can't help but reach out and put his hand upon her mammory gifts. Says Facinelli, Dr. Cooper's sexual tick only comes out when he is nervous and stressed - a condition that the bull-headed and feverish Nurse Jackie tends to put him in on numerous occasions.
Read more about it at the Examiner. Thanks for the heads up, Amanda, I think Dr. Cullen just grew on me. ;o)
