Sam Bradley's Beautiful Soul

My good friend and Examiner, Amanda Bell-God love her-has yet another amazing interview. This time she spoke with Sam Bradley, co-author with Robert Pattinson of 'Never Think' from the Twilight movie/soundtrack.

I asked Sam what inspired him to become a musician. Quite candidly, he stated that he draws a lot of his inspiration from his close friend Marcus Foster. Says Bradley, “It was a few things . . . Marcus Foster is a big inspiration because he was always, he started playing music really young, and I’ve sort of admired him. . . . I started late, but I always love listening to him and watching him.” Adds Bradley, there was a, “and kind of, in the healthy sort of way, competitive thing as well. I wanted to be as good as him. I wanted to be able to do it with him.” Another very personal source of inspiration to Bradley, says he, is “also my mum. She’s a singer/song-writer as well.”

I asked Sam if there was a point that he might be able to think of when he could take a step back and say “I’ve done what I wanted to do.” Beautifully put, Sam said

You mean, when I’d feel accomplished? In my life, I don’t really. I’d really like to think or hope that that day won’t come, especially musically… I mean, on a personal level, when I have a beautiful wife and children and a great family, you know, then I will, maybe then, on a personal level, have everything I’ve dreamed about, but I don’t think musically that day will ever come. I want to just keep creating, and I don’t think I’ll ever write my best song.
Though Sam Bradley may never write his best song, he does have a favorite, thus far. “Pretty Boy,” which “noone’s heard . . . yet,” says Sam, will be on the album he is currently completing.

When I asked Sam to pick one word to describe his personality, he said “hopeful. I like hopeful.” I also asked him if there was a question he’d yet to hear in an interview that he’d like to, he said “What’s my shoe size?” The answer? “Twelve,” he says with a clever chuckle.

You can check out the rest of Amanda's interview here and be sure to stop by Sam's MySpace page, add him as a friend and show him some love.

Summit Confirms Cambell-Bower Casting in New Moon

The story is true, says a publicity rep for Summit Entertainment. Jamie Campbell-Bower, who we reported to you hours ago as being cast in The Twilight Saga: New Moon as Caius, the Volturi vamp, according to the BBC, is officially an addition to New Moon, the sequel to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson hit book-to-film Twilight.

Marcus Foster talks music, dreams and friends

The Twilight Examiner, Amanda Bell, gives us another terrific interview as she chats with Marcus Foster, co-author with Bobby Long of 'Let Me Sign' from the Twilight Soundtrack. Here are few tidbits...

To the talented and smooth-sounding singer, guitarist, and pianist, inspiration came when he "started out by playing piano." Says Marcus, "[at] about six or seven, I would learn songs my parents were playing me like the Beatles and Nina Simone. Eventually I began to learn guitar and started playing in blues clubs near where my dad lived. I discovered Tom Waits and he inspired me to write my own songs." It is some those same artists that continue to influence Marcus Foster to this very day. Says he, of his most prominent current influences, "[i]t changes all the time but Tom Waits and [Bob] Dylan are a constant influence."

As for his relationship with long-time friends Bobby Long, Sam Bradley (who co-authored "Never Think" from the soundtrack as well), and Twilight star Robert Pattinson, Marcus says "I went to school with Rob and Sam, and I have known Bobby for a few years now," and "they are my boys!" Clearly, their friendship still runs deep amidst the swarm of goings-on that would threaten to separate even the closest of friends.

Despite all of the Twilight stardom that has come upon Rob, Foster says "it's pretty crazy. It hasn't changed him at all. I'm proud."

Foster, who has a sense of humor akin in genuineness and solidarity to that of Pattinson, Long, and Bradley, said that his biggest dream is "to catch a really big fish." Clever, that one. When I challenged him to describe his personality in a word, Foster said, "I can't think of one word," and then finished by suggesting "indecisive?"

Marcus Foster closed with a warm message for his fans, saying that he hopes that they enjoy his music, to watch out for an up-coming EP to become available on iTunes and the web, and that he is "looking forward to [his] American tour." We are, too, Marcus Foster.

I was broswing some Robert Pattinson pictures and found 2 great sketches on Robert Pattinson Unlimited by Lina Zol, I love the sketches so much I had to share!!

A weekend with the Twilight stars

While Taylor Lautner was in the Kids Choice Awards in Hollywood, his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed were spotted having lunch in Vancouver with Kristen's boyfriend Michael Angarano. Nikki was then scene going to Rob Pattinson's place to meet up with mutual friends.

Instead of appearing at the Kids Choice Awards with Taylor Lautner, Robert Parrinson was enjoying the Juno Awards after party. Even though some fans spotted him its reported he still had a good time. He then met up with Nikki Reed and met up with mutual friends.

Kellan Lutz looking good without even trying!

Kellan Lutz was spotted at My House (the night club and not my apartment! even though this girl can wish!) in Hollywood. Even though Hollywood is known for beautiful perfection Kellan displayed 'sexy scruffy' with cool confidence that reminiscent of Brad Pitt.
Thanks JUST JARED!!

Robert Pattinson Transforms in Salvador Dali

Little Ashes was shown tonight at the Cine Lumiere in London as part of the “Lorca on Film” film series. The film was introduced by director Paul Morrison and screenwriter Philippa Goslet. Anja was there and sent us her report:

What can I say, I laughed and cried, I love when a film moves me like that. Outstanding performances by both Rob and Javier, beautiful settings, music and supporting cast. At first I just saw Rob, then I began to see Saldavor. Rob really put his heart and soul into the role.

After the film, Paul and Phillipa did a Q&A. Phillipa said she drew the first draft back in 2000. Someone asked if they had considered filming the movie in Spanish to which Morrison replied “every other day!” He continued “the story has been around for over 20 years and no Spanish film maker has ever told it. These two great artists belong to the world and we wanted to tell their story to a wide audience. The poetry readings were kept in Spanish, we had to do that for Lorca.”

When asked about the casting, Morrison explained that to begin with, they had a big budget which drew some big names but it just never felt right. After careful consideration and changes to the budget, Rob was approached - originally for the role of Lorca! But soon Morrison realized that Rob could identify so much better as Dali, as they share the same kind of intelligence. Rob “completely immersed himself into the role of Dali”. Morrison spent a lot of time with Javier and Rob on his own, until the chemistry was right.

During the break before the Q & A, I spotted Rob’s parents and had a chance to say hello. I told them how much I loved their son’s work. They told me it was their second time of seeing it. Rob’s sisters were also there. The theatre was at full capacity and I think a lot of people will spread the Little Ashes love!

Jamie Campbell-Bower of Sweeney Todd to play Caius in New Moon?

British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has revealed he will play Volturi leader Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The 20-year-old, who has appeared in RockNRolla and Sweeney Todd, told the BBC news website that taking part in the vampire series was "very exciting".

"You're the first people I've told" he said. "Shooting has already started, and I'm going over in June."

Campbell-Bower confessed he was not previously aware of the character: "I hadn't read the books before. But it's a great thing to be a part of, and it did very well last year."

In relation to the fanfare that Robert Pattinson has received because of Twilight, he said, "I doubt I'll get the same sort of adulation as Robert - but it's always nice when people recognise you for your work." And apparently, like Rob, he is quite the singer, as well. Hmmmm...
Be advised that Summit Entertainment has yet to confirm.

Bobby Long Kissed by Fame

Young British songwriter's Bobby Long, Marcus Foster and Sam Bradley were thrust into the spotlight with the recent release of Twilight. Their songs, "Let Me Sign" [Long/Foster] and "Never Think" [Bradley/Pattinson], were featured in the movie and on the soundtrack sung by good friend Robert Pattinson. They are all absolutely deserving of this new found fame and are now starting to see some of the fringe benefits.

Long said: "I was playing this gig at the Hackney Empire and some girl ran on stage and kissed me, but the reason it was so awkward was because I had said this was the last song and I played it."

But then the crowd wanted more. So as he went to agree to the song, the girl ran on stage and had to awkwardly stand right beside him as he played the final tune.

"As soon as I'd finished she ran up and kissed me."

Ha ha...Lucky Girl!

Congrats to Stephenie Meyer on Twilight's Win!

We here at The Twilight Sisterhood would like to Congratulate author, Stephenie Meyer, on her well-deserved win this evening. Her debut novel, Twilight, won Nickelodeon's 2009 Kid's Choice Award for Favorite Book.

It all began with a dream of a beautiful young couple in a meadow. The only hitch was that the boy was a vampire. Meyer recorded her dream into what we now know as Twilight, the beginning of a 4 book saga that took the world by storm. The rest, as they say, is history-as Edward Cullen & Bella Swan have become the modern day Romeo & Juliet.

We cannot get enough of the Twilight Phenomenon with the books, movies, posters, jewelry, apparel, etc. and, of course, the amazing actors that brought our favorite tale to life. For which, we are grateful to Meyer for sharing her dreams. Thank you & Cheers!

What happened to Bobby Long?

Although tonight's Vamp Radio interview with Bobby Long was cut short, it was fantastic. He is such a beautiful soul, humble, humerous, kind and considerate. Talent is obviously in his genes as he said that he comes from a very musical family. However, he himself didn't even learn to play guitar until he was 17 or 18, nor did he start singing until he was 20. He sure has come a long way in a very short period of time!

Unfortunately, Bobby had to jet early because they were closing down the building he was in and about to shut off the power. He promised he'd reschedule and we'll be sure to keep you updated on that when it comes around. He jokingly said he hoped he was as entertaining as his manager, Phil "Sweet Lips" Taylor. And to quote him again, just hearing his beautiful voice was "wicked".

Thanks, Bobby!

Here's a special little treat...Bobby & Marcus Foster jamming.

Robert Pattinson needs PROPER Representation

From The Boston Phoenix:"Shhh, don’t tellTwilight star Robert Pattinson, but the reportedly smelly, hygeine-challenged actor is not actually a vampire. Of course, that hasn’t stopped this tweenie heartthrob with the Groucho eyebrows from brooding like a fool at every camera in his path. He should enjoy the fame, though; it’s inevitable that a younger Brit fart-throb with even messier hair will take a bite out of this cornball’s (oc)cult of morbid adolescent fandom sometime soon."

Seriously? I'm so tired of hearing all of this BS about Rob. Where the Hell is his "Representation"? Obviously, manager Nick Frenkel and agent, Stephanie Ritz can't seem to take care of his PR needs themselves. So...maybe they ought to see to it that he finds a good Publicist and make it snappy!!!

I guess what this dumbass and others like him don't realize is that these tactics usually just end up backfiring. Considering the ribbing that many other great actors such as Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp also suffered at the hands of the media; somehow they didn't end up being one-hit wonders like this dipshit seems to think Rob will become. Come on people, give the guy a break already!

Sam Bradley: his music, Rob & the Twilight phenomenon

Celebuzz got a great interview with Robert Pattinson's good friend and "Never Think" co-writer, Sam Bradley. Here are a few bits and pieces.

His good friend since the age of 12, Robert Pattinson was in attendance. Although Pattinson remained out-of-sight from the general public during the show, his presence was certainly felt by Bradley.

"Every time I made a mistake, I kept looking over," Bradley tells Celebuzz. "At one point I walked off-stage and just started laughing." Bradley was playing the cover of "Man's World" by James Brown, ran into some problems and left the stage to pick up his folder. He looked up at Pattinson hanging out in the stage wings, out-of-sight. "I just started laughing," says Bradley. "And he was just smiling back."

It's been quite a journey from a late-night music sessions that led to "Never Think", to Rob bringing it to the attention of the Twilight film-makers once he landed the part of Edward Cullen. "I remember I was walking to a gas station to use the bathroom," says Sam. "And I got a phone call from Rob saying a lawyer is going to call you in a second. The song is going in the soundtrack. I was crossing my legs and skipping. I guess I was skipping about both reasons."

"I'm very lucky to be part of this phenomena," he says. "And they don't want me to take my clothes off."

As for the Cullen boy that many would like to see without clothes, Bradley says, "There's no formula for handling this. But he's handling it very well."

Head on over to their site to read the rest.

Robert Pattinson Sets the Record Straight

I just found this short interview with Robert Pattinson on Lion_Lamb. Thank you!

Moviefone interview: These days, you can't look at a gossip rag or website without finding some new -- often outrageous -- story about Robert Pattinson, the red-hot star of 'Twilight.'When we talked to Pattinson in anticipation of his upcoming film 'Little Ashes' (in theaters May 8, 2009), we decided to get the sexy 22-year-old's take on a few recent headlines.

1. I heard that you follow all the online gossip about you?
I read that and thought it was such bullshit. I was like, "God, I sound like such a loser!"

2. So that's not true?
Well, I do sometimes. I used to a lot more before and then ... I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever's saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names. I write it all down in my black book. [Laughs]

3. Is it true that you took a fan out for dinner?
That is true, yeah.

4. Is it true that, I don't know if you saw this, but a source on the set of 'New Moon' said that you don't smell good, that you don't shower?
I haven't even been on the set yet!

5. You know the same thing went around about Zac Efron a while ago; that he doesn't shower.
Really? He looks like he smells really good [laughs]. I also do shower.

6. I also read that you got hit on the head with a sign while you were filming?
You know, that is the most ... I actually got told about that this morning. It's like, "What?" It's the most boring story.

7. I just watched a Ryan Reynolds video interview and he called you "dreamy" and said he'd love to work with you.
[Embarrassed laugh] Really?

8. Is there anyone you'd love to work with?
Ryan Reynolds! [Laugh] ... I've always wanted to work with Benicio Del Toro, I think he's amazing. And there are tons and tons of people ...

(This is just a taste of our interview with the charmingly shy Pattinson. Come back closer to the release date of 'Little Ashes' for more surprises in our full interview, in which he reveals how he prepared for his nude scenes in the Salvador Dali biopic, where he sees himself in the future ... and how the energy is different on 'New Moon.')

From the "WTF?!" file: Twilight Blamed for Biting Incident

The Des Moines Register is reporting that a 13 year old middle school student has taken his Twilight obsession perhaps a little too far. According to the report, the boy bit a 13-year-old female student on the right hand at a track meet on March 13. The Vice Principal investigated the incident and found that the boy had bitten 10 other students. When police contacted the boy's father, he said that his son didn't mean to hurt anyone and that he was biting other students because of the movie "Twilight."

Ok, kids, word to the wise...keep your mouth to yourself! "Bite Me" is a figure of speech and it's called FICTION for a reason.

Kellan's HOT Flaunt Spread

Thank you, Kellan Lutz Online for sharing the LOVE!

Hey, Jackson, meet Jasper!

I'm wondering if Jackson thought he was having an out of body experience here? At TwiCon San Francisco recently, the loveable Jackson Rathbone took the opportunity to meet his alter ego, Jasper Hale...Hillywood style. Gotta love that smile! They have several more pics from the event on their 100 Monkeys' MySpace page.

Special Thanks to Cullen Boys Anonymous for the reminder of how great this Hillywood Show Twilight Parody is. The Twilight Fandom never ceases to amaze me!

It's On Demand for Robert Pattinson and his Indie Film, 'How To Be'

Although, this information was release a couple weeks ago, the extra details on the CD are pretty exciting.

MTV reports Robert Pattinson is coming to a television set near you — not as the "Twilight" vampire we've all come to know, but as Art, a struggling singer/songwriter trying to get over a breakup in the indie comedy "How to Be." MTV News exclusively reports that IFC Festival Direct will be showing the film on demand beginning April 29.

The 22-year-old actor not only stars in the film but also performs three original songs on the soundtrack, which will be released on CD and as a digital download through iTunes and other online retailers on April 28.

"How to Be" follows Art as he moves back in with his parents post-breakup and hires a full-time self-help guru to help him work through the pain and become "more normal." The film was written and directed by newcomer Oliver Irving and also stars Rebecca Pidgeon. It premiered at the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival as has one numerous awards including Best Actor for Robert Pattinson.

The soundtrack is a 23-song collection. In addition to Pattinson's three tracks, the disc includes songs from Love, Captain Beefheart and the Roches. A 12-page booklet featuring song lyrics and never-before-seen "How to Be" photos will be included in both the CD and digital versions. The CD also comes with one of two movies posters.

But perhaps the best news of all for Edward Cullen fans is that 250 people who preorder the CD directly from Dreamboat Records before April 28 will be selected at random to receive a booklet poster personally signed by Pattinson.

I've got my tickets to see the movie in 2 weeks and will definitely be getting that CD, as well. How about you?

Little Ashes Will Set Robert Pattinson Apart

Robert may have rose to stardom through the Twilight phenomenon, but his soon to be released film, Little Ashes, will set a new precedence for his acting abilities. Robert Pattinson, the actor, is all but forgotten in this Access Hollywood clip as he literally embodies the young, eccentric artist, Salvador Dali, and gives a Brilliant performance.

Although, Rob filmed Little Ashes in Spain before ever landing the role of Edward Cullen, it's release was held off due to the Twilight frenzy. It will finally be released in select markets on May 8th. Check the movie's site for an up-to-date listing of show locations and be sure to contact your local theater to request it.

OH, HOLY PETER!

Wow...Thank you TwiCrack for digging up some "goods" on Peter...Dr. Cullen never looked soooo gooooood!

Kellan Chuckles of Rob's Modeling Pics

From mybliss:
If you've bought the new issue of bliss (out now!) you'll already have checked out our retro-sexy pics of R Patz modeling for our mag in 2003! We've always known what's hot!
So when bliss went along to the Eternal Twilight convention we jumped at the chance to show the vintage mag to Robert's co-star Kellan Lutz (he plays Emmett Cullen). Kellan found the pics pretty hilarious and didn't miss the opportunity to flirt with our Zoe. Check out the video here...

Love, Kellan, he is such a ham!

Robert Pattinson's The Haunted Airman Coming to DVD

Exciting news for fans of Robert Pattinson's work! His movie, The Haunted Airman, will soon be released on DVD.

Adapted from Dennis Wheatley's novel The Haunting of Toby Jugg, this is the chilling tale of a troubled young man who returns from the war only to face new terrors. The Haunted Airman stars Julian Sands (Warlock, A Room With A View), Rachael Stirling, Robert Pattinson (Twilight, Harry Potter) and is out on DVD on April 6th through Revolver Entertainment.

Twilight Fanfic: Interview with author ilsuocantante

In my Wide Awake stupor, I went in search of more...luckily, on The Lazy, Yet Discerning Ficster (TLYDF) blog there was a little fanfic called Answering Bell featured in their Dumpster Dive Treasure Find. Here is what they had to say about it:
Mission: Find a story that doesn't require a bleach chaser.
Parameters: New, Intriguing, Under Appreciated
The Pearl: Answering Bell
Summary: After her divorce, Bella is broken. She moves away from Forks and resolves to move on with her life. With the help of some new friends, can she find love again? AU/AH, slightly OOC. I suck at summaries, but give it a shot.
Twilight - Fiction Rated: M - English - Hurt/Comfort/Romance -
Why I Read This: First of all, even though this summary contains those words that I typically run away from, I gave it a shot. What I found was a well-planned, well thought out story that deserves far more attention that it has. I do admit to being confused in the beginning, but by the time I got to the second chapter, things made much more sense. I like a Bella who has the strength to make changes in her life and plow forward, doing what she needs to do even if that means leaving her comfort zone. After 5 chapters, the author has introduced us to the main players in the story and I'm more than just a little bit interested in seeing where she intends to take the story. It is definitely worth the read and the time.
*******************
Well, that peaked my interest and I was quickly hooked. Answering Bell's author, ilsuocantante, granted me a little interview.
How long have you been writing and what led you to focus on Twilight related fanfiction?
When I was in middle/high school I would write really bad short stories and angsty poetry. This is the first time I've written anything and actually let other people read it though. It's been a little nerve wracking for me, but overall a good experience.
Before Twilight, I really had no idea that fanfiction existed. I'd heard murmurings of Harry Potter stories, but figured it was mostly Snape on Harry smut or something, which I had no interest in since I thought of those characters as kids.
With Twilight... well, I'm probably going to take some heat for this, but I really didn't enjoy the books that much. I got bullied into reading it by a coworker, and became fascinated by the concept but found the writing in general lacking. I was left with a lot of questions, and started making up stories in my head to answer them. Then I stumbled on fanfiction, became obsessed, and decided to try my hand at writing them down. And there my first two short stories were born.

Who or what has been your biggest inspiration?
Character-wise, Edward. I find his mind fascinating; so dark and tortured. I really wish Stephenie Meyer had expanded on him in the books. Midnight Sun was great, but again I was left with a lot of questions. I really hope she finishes it.
As far as inspiration from the fanfiction world, the first fic I read was Spiral Static by Coquettishness. I found it and thought, hell yes! Someone else who needed the 'fade to black' parts filled in. That really inspired the first one-shots I wrote.
Overall all, I find AngstGoddess003's Wide Awake incredibly inspiring, as well as tara sue me's The Submissive/The Dominant... and of course, anything that Withthevampsofcourse and Jandco have written. Mskathy's The Discovery of Bella Swan and The List by Laura Cullen are also favorites.

What have your stories and growing fan base brought out in you personally?
I think it's a little too early to say I have an actual fanbase, but thanks haha :) the process in general has reaffirmed my love of writing, and the response I've gotten has boosted my confidence in my ideas and technique more than I can say. I was really nervous when I started Answering Bell; I'd never written anything more than a few thousand words other than for school, so it was definitely a big step for me and I'm really enjoying the experience.

What do you hope to accomplish through your stories?
To be honest, I'm just having fun testing my creative waters. I dont have an agenda with my stories, other than hopefully entertaining the reader.
You're putting a lot of heart and soul into Answering Bell right now. Do you intend it to be a long story or do you already have other storylines swirling in your head fighting to get out?
Like I said, this is my first time attempting anything like this... so i'm kind of flying by the seat of my pants here! I have a definite direction that I'm heading in, but can't tell you for sure how long or short this is going to be. I am estimating about 20 chapters at this point. I do have a couple other storylines that I'm kicking around at the moment. One will be canon, post-BD, but may turn into a one shot since it's a very specific scene I have in mind. the other could be either AU or AU-AH, I haven't decided yet. i will most likely wait on those until Answering bell is completed.
****************
Well, just to let you know, you ARE building quite the devoted fanbase here with The Twilight Sisterhood & Team Moose! Keep up the great work and thanks for taking some time out to talk to us.
On her profile you can see her cast of characters for Answering Bell as well as what they're wearing throughout the story. It's still a work in progress, but she just posted Chapter 8 yesterday and is working diligently on more. You can also find her one-shots there, The Good Fight and Sex On Fire, but keep in mind these stories are written for Mature Audiences and RATED M for a reason!

Bobby Long on Vamp Radio

Ok...so it's no secret around here that I am a HUGE Bobby Long fan! My status on both my Facebook and MySpace pages praise him and his talents, I've sent out bulletins asking for people to friend his MySpace page, we've blogged here about him several times and I'm traveling to Hollywood next month just to see him perform at the Whisky.

Bobby was scheduled to be on Vamp Radio last Monday. However, due to an unexpected event he wasn't able to make it, but his manager, Phil Taylor, filled in nicely sharing how Bob met Rob.

Excellent News: Bobby has rescheduled to be on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 pm. Please show Bobby the love he so deserves by tuning in!

Says Fandango, "Although it was not the top-grossing film of 2008 (that honor goes to the The Dark Knight), Twilight ended up receiving more fan votes than any other title and went on to win the award [with] a recent Fandango survey [showing] New Moon, the Twilight sequel set for release on November 20, . . . among 2009's most anticipated movies."

Summit Confirms Robert's Involvement in 'Memoirs' Consideration

Summit Entertainment is confirming today that Robert Pattinson, who proved his romantic appeal in Summit's "Twilight," may play another star-crossed lover in a new project called "Memoirs" that Summit is currently assembling.

Pattinson, who is reprising his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon," is in early talks to star in the new project, which Allen Coulter is considering directing.

"Memoirs," based on an orignal screenplay by Will Fetters that will be rewritten by Jenny Lumet, who penned "Rachel Getting Married," tells of two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they struggle to deal with family tragedies.

Summit is sometimes a little slow to these confirmations, so it's nice to see now. We'll keep watching for more info.

New Moon's Heidi?

Marc Malkin of E!Online proudly states, "New Moon has its Heidi. I can exclusively reveal that Canadian supermodel Noot Seear has won the coveted role of the beautiful human bait in the Twilight sequel. Let the Robert Pattinson and Noot romance rumors begin!"

Read the rest of his article at E! Online. Summit has yet to confirm.

When you have an extra 20 minutes, please take the time to complete their survey. Remember, you are doing it for the greater good. :) I have already taken the survey, and it is pretty easy.

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Twilighters!

We are a group of media researchers (and Twilight devotees) at the University of Missouri-Columbia who are interested in researching the cultural phenomenon known as Twilight.
We invite you to participate in our Twilight Survey. If you are 18 or older, you can take our survey through this link: www.surveymonkey.com/twilightmoms . If you are under 18, you will need to ask the permission of your parent or guardian, and s/he will be sent a code via email that will allow you to enter the survey. Please ask your parent or guardian to email Elizabeth Behm-Morawitz at behmmorawitze@missouri.edu to give their consent for you to participate and to receive the code. Once you have the code, you can take our survey through this link: www.surveymonkey.com/twilightteens .

On the survey, you will be asked to answer questions regarding your personality, relationship history, your interpretation of the characters and relationships in the Twilight saga, your fan activities, and finally your basic demographics. The entire survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time.

To repay your favor of filling out our survey, we will enter you into a lottery to win one of three $50 Amazon gift cards. At the end of our data collection, we will randomly select three participants to win the gift card.

The risks to participating in this research study are expected to be no greater than those encountered in ordinary, everyday life. In fact, you have likely talked about the topics we will ask you about with your friends or in online discussion forums. The benefits to participating in this research study include the opportunity to get exposure to the research process and to take part in an academic study that will contribute to the understanding of fans’ connection to Twilight.

The data from this study will be kept anonymous. Your personal information, including your name, will not be connected to the data you provide, unless you indicate at the end of the survey that you would be willing to be interviewed over the phone or in person. Interviews will be conducted at a later date.

Thanks for your consideration!

*sigh* I heart Peter Facinelli

As if we needed yet another reason to adore him, Peter Facinelli went above and beyond the call of duty during his recent autograph session at Fort Lewis–

Originally schedule to last just two hours Saturday afternoon, Facinelli’s visit to the PX finally wrapped up at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, some 16 and a half hours after it started. The appearance at the exchange capped off a whirlwind three day tour of Ft. Lewis that had Facinelli meeting troops from the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, talking with more than 100 military children at a local prep school and taking part in a question and answer session with some 1,000 fans at a free screening of the Twilight movie Friday night.

Be a friend to Bobby Long!

As if it's not enough to be friends with the hottest guy in Hollywood, Bobby
Long needs more friends...on MySpace, that is. He's at 5400 right now and
his manager, Phil Taylor, said he needs to get up to at least 30,000 for
producers to start taking notice. So, please everyone add him as a friend
if you haven't already. You won't regret it. He's an amazing musician.

Kellan single

Exhale big sigh of relief like I'd ever have a chance anyway. LOL. Ten Gossip reports Kellan and AnnaLynne or NOT dating.

“Kellan’s not my boyfriend. We hang out a lot. He’s a sweetheart, he’s a really good friend of mine. We’ve known each other for five years actually. He’s the biggest dork, he’s like my big brother and we have a really good time together.”

We still have a chance ladies! LOL.

Twilight Stars deals with Paparazzi

An actors dream is to do a movie that's really successful and make Hollywood take notice, the down side.....PAPARAZZI!!

'Twilight' Stars Lament The 'Unavoidable' Paparazzi
'You really have to
pay attention to what you look like when you leave your house,' Edi Gathegi
says.
By Larry Carroll

A year ago, they were young actors
with few credits, traveling to Portland to shoot a low-budget vampire film with
an indie director. This week, they're returning to Vancouver as A-listers,
filming one of the most eagerly anticipated sequels of the year.
Hollywood
has finally taken notice of the stars of "Twilight" — and so have the dreaded
paparazzi.
"It's kind of bizarre," Ashley Greene told us over the weekend,
discussing the
stalker-iffic
photos
that popped up all over the Web recently — some even dissecting their beverage selections as they began "New Moon" pre-production.
"We would walk out of our hotel, and there would be people there taking
pictures, and the [headline] would be, like, 'Jackson and Ashley Get Coffee!'
It's new."
According to Edi Gathegi, there might even be a double agent in
the midst of the "Twilight" stars, leaking details about their movements. "There
is a mole, and the mole is feeding information," Gathegi marveled, remembering
recent pictures of
the group flying out of Vancouver last week. "[The paparazzi]
took pictures of every single one of us leaving the airport! It's like, how are
they getting this information?"
At
an
event inside Beverly Hills, California, shop Kitson
this past Saturday, paparazzi were all over the sidewalk. One photographer was
seen driving with his right hand and simultaneously pointing his camera out the
window with his left. Another, parked in a red zone, dropped the flatbed portion
of his truck, stood on it and quickly snapped photos of Rachelle Lefevre, Kellan
Lutz and Greene before speeding off.
"You know what? They are so much more
polite in Canada," Greene observed, comparing her recent interactions. "I think
that everyone in Canada is more polite, and the paparazzi are even polite to
you. It's kind of bizarre.
"They were even like, 'Do you mind if we take a
picture?' " Greene remembered of one group of photographers.
"They'll let
you fix your eye makeup first," Lefevre agreed.
"A year later, it's starting
to hit me how huge this thing is," Gathegi said of all the attention sure to
surround them as they reconvene on the "New Moon" set this week. "You really
have to pay attention to what you look like when you leave your house, because
you will be up on a blog site within minutes."
The celebrity stalkings have
gotten so bad, in fact, that some "Twilight" stars have decided to fight back.
"It's funny. Edi and myself — because they have been up there and they have
really been [following] us — we've been messing with them," Kellan Lutz said of
recent pictures that include him
taking photos of the photographers. "It's great; we have been
doing some pranks on them. I can't really share any, but a lot of the pictures
are planned."
"Click, click, click," Gathegi mimicked, saying he can't even
go to the store in Vancouver without hearing the increasingly familiar noise.
"And they try to be slick about it. They'll have it in a bag, they're looking at
you, and the second you turn around? Click. My ex-girlfriend called me and was
like, 'This is a little weird now. I'm looking at my favorite blog site, and
you're up there. What's happening?' Well, it's weird for me too."
"There is
having your picture taken nicely at an event, and then there is having your
picture taken at 5 in the morning in front of Starbucks when you're not even
awake," Lefevre explained of the stars' current, increasingly tumultuous
relationship with the paparazzi. "I think the truth is that it's unavoidable. If
we could cultivate some sort of a mutual respect, that would be ideal. But
somehow, that doesn't seem like it's gonna go down."
